This pumpkin-themed event was funded by Hub Hub Nature Hub. Millions of pumpkins are wasted in the UK every Halloween, carving but not eating the flesh. Hub Hub supports events that squash the myth that pumpkins are not ready for eating. Attendees enjoyed a delicious pumpkin soup and learned how to incorporate pumpkin waste when making garden compost. They each decorated a small pumpkin which they took home with them.
